Does the flip cover fit any Fairphone 4 or 5 case?

The flip cover is compatible with all cases that are not made of silicone or TPU.

No adhesive bonds well to soft or highly flexible surfaces—this is a technical limitation, not a product defect.

Does the glue really stick permanently?

Yes. We use a high-quality 3M adhesive strip that comes pre-cut to size. It securely attaches your case and flip cover, ensuring a reliable and durable fit—as long as the surface is not made of TPU or silicone and is clean, dry, and free of grease. Detailed installation instructions can be found on the product page.

What should I do if my case is made of TPU or silicone?

Switch to a compatible case, for example:

Can I remove or reuse the lid?

The flip cover is designed for a permanent connection.

If you want to remove them, you can loosen the adhesive by gently heating it with a hair dryer.

This way, you can remove the cover neatly and without leaving any residue.

Please note: The 3M adhesive strip is not reusable, and we are (currently) unable to provide replacement strips. Therefore, reinstallation is not possible.

What material is the valve made of?

The flip cover is made of high-quality, finely tanned genuine leather that is durable, sturdy, and feels pleasant to the touch.

How do I properly care for genuine leather?

Our leather is finely tanned and does not require intensive care. You can wipe it down occasionally with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners or greasy care products—these can damage the natural surface.

Are the card slots shielded (RFID protection)?

No, the Flipcase does not have built-in RFID protection. For added security, we recommend using a separate RFID card if necessary.

What should I do if my case is made of TPU or silicone?

For technical reasons, the glue won't hold. You have two options:
