Materials that make a difference
At Biowaves, we strive to reduce our use of plastic and prioritize sustainable, natural, and plastic-free alternatives whenever possible.
Our hard cases are made from a biodegradable material that is free of toxic substances and plasticizers, odorless, and leaves no trace of microplastics.
We use recycled organic cotton for our cords and genuine leather for our covers.
We keep the amount of plastic in our products to an absolute minimum and use it only when it provides real added value—for example, as durable, tear-resistant nylon cord on our HangHub.
Packaging and shipping: less is more
Our packaging is as minimalist as possible—made from recycled and recyclable paper—to ensure safe and eco-friendly delivery.
For shipping, we use biodegradable materials such as PBAT and cornstarch bubble wrap.
All orders are shipped carbon-neutrally via DHL GoGreen, so that together we can reduce COâ‚‚ emissions. In 2024, we saved 240 kg of COâ‚‚.

Commitment to Ocean Conservation
For us, sustainability doesn’t stop at our products. We also want to take responsibility where our materials come from—in nature itself.
That is why we support the organization SPOT Marine in Cyprus, which has been working for many years to protect endangered sea turtles. Every purchase made at Biowaves helps protect nesting beaches, care for hatchlings, and raise awareness among the local community.
Our adopted turtle, Marina Dwyn, symbolizes this commitment. She reminds us why we choose sustainable materials and avoid plastic: to preserve habitats—both in the ocean and on land.

We conserve resources by not printing invoices or delivery notes. Your invoice is sent electronically via email.
Fair and sustainable returns
We do not automatically include return labels in our shipments. Since about 90% of them are never used, you can request one at any time through our online portal. A fee of €4.80 will be deducted from your refund. This allows us to keep shipping costs affordable for everyone and to manage returns in a fair and responsible manner.

At Biowaves, we prioritize elegant, well-thought-out designs that are both stylish and functional. Our products are carefully crafted—from the perfect fit to the comfortable feel of the material.
