What payment methods are available?

Where can I find my invoice?
You will receive your invoice by email at the address you provided when placing your order. In the interest of sustainability, we do not print invoices or delivery notes. We will be happy to send you the invoice upon request. To do so, please contact us at support@biowaves.de or via chat.
Can I still change or cancel my order?
Since we ship orders as quickly as possible, cancellations or changes are generally no longer possible once your order (including payment) has been submitted.
Can I have my order delivered to a Packstation pickup point?
Yes, that's possible. In the address field, enter your pickup point number, your DHL customer number, and the pickup point's ZIP code. You can find detailed instructions from DHL here .
Which carrier will deliver my order?
We ship via DHL as standard. Deliveries to other EU countries may be handled by a local carrier.
Where is my order?
Once we receive your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link. You can use this link to track your order at any time.
My order hasn't arrived—what should I do?
If the DHL tracking information indicates that your shipment has not been delivered or is not currently in transit, please contact our customer service team at support@biowaves.de or use the chat feature.
What are you doing to promote environmentally friendly shipping?
We use packaging materials made from recycled and recyclable raw materials, primarily cardboard and paper. In addition, every shipment is handled by DHL GoGreen. This allows us to minimize our environmental impact in the transportation sector.

How do I return an item?
You can cancel your order within 30 days without giving a reason. For more information on the process, please see Returns and Refunds.
Why isn't a return label included with the order?
Sustainability is important to us. More than 90% of return labels go unused and end up in the trash unnecessarily. We want to offer eco-friendly solutions and conserve resources. Your satisfaction is also our top priority, which is why we offer a simple and flexible return option. You’ll find all the information you need to get a return label here.
Why do I have to pay for return shipping?
Due to rising logistics and shipping costs, we charge a flat fee for returns. This amount will be automatically deducted from your refund. This helps us keep costs and the time spent on returns to a minimum. We offer affordable shipping throughout Europe and free shipping in Germany. In order to continue offering you these benefits, we must pass on a portion of the return costs. You can find all additional information regarding returns here.
How much does a return cost?
You can obtain a prepaid DHL label through our online return process. There is a €4.80 fee for using this service, which will be deducted from your refund. This ensures that the cost is fair for both parties.

How long will it take to process my return and receive my refund?
It usually takes 4 to 5 business days to process your return after it is received by our shipping partner. Once your return has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email. The refund will be issued via the same payment method used when you placed your order.

Does Biowaves offer a warranty on its products?
Yes, we offer a 6-month warranty on all our products starting from the date of purchase.
It covers defects in materials and workmanship.
If your case is damaged by a drop during this period, while your smartphone remains intact, we will consider replacing it as a goodwill gesture.

How do I file a complaint?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If your product has a manufacturing or material defect, please contact us at support@biowaves.de or via chat. Ideally, please include 2–3 photos of the item as a whole and of the defect clearly visible. We will respond within four business days.
Why do smartphone cases have to be thrown away with household trash when they are compostable?
The compostability of our envelopes has been tested under anaerobic conditions, similar to those found in biogas plants or landfills. However, most compostable waste decomposes under aerobic conditions in composting facilities. Under these conditions, the degradation of our envelopes could be too slow and disrupt the composting process.
Recycling systems in Europe are almost never designed to handle bioplastics and would treat our products as plastic waste.
Until there are recycling systems for bioplastics in Europe, it is recommended that we dispose of our cell phone cases with household waste.
