Where can I find my invoice?
You will receive the invoice by email at the address provided in your order. For sustainability reasons, we do not print invoices or delivery notes. We will gladly send you the invoice upon request. To do so, please send us a message to support@biowaves.de or use the chat function.
Can I still change or cancel my order?
Since we ship orders as quickly as possible, cancellation or changes are usually no longer possible once your order (including payment) has been submitted.
Can I have my delivery sent to a parcel locker?
Yes, that's possible. In the address field, enter your Packstation number, your Postnummer (DHL customer number), and the Packstation's postal code. You can find detailed instructions from DHL here .
Which shipping provider will deliver my order?
We ship via DHL as standard. Deliveries to other EU countries may be handled by a national shipping provider.
Where is my order?
Once we have received your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link. You can use this link to track your order at any time.
My order hasn't arrived – what can I do?
If the DHL tracking information shows that your shipment has not been delivered or is not moving, please contact our customer service at support@biowaves.de or use the chat.
What are you doing for environmentally friendly shipping?
We use shipping materials made from recycled and recyclable raw materials, primarily cardboard and paper. Furthermore, every shipment is sent via DHL GoGreen. In this way, we keep our environmental footprint in the shipping sector as small as possible.

How can I return an item?
Why is there no return label included with the order?
Sustainability is important to us. Over 90% of return labels go unused and end up unnecessarily in the trash. We want to offer environmentally friendly solutions and conserve resources. At the same time, your satisfaction is important to us – that's why we offer you a simple and flexible return option. You can find out how to get a return label here .
Why does the return shipping cost something?
Since logistics and shipping costs are rising, we charge a flat fee for returns. This amount will be automatically deducted from your refund. This keeps the financial and time commitment low for both of us. We offer affordable shipping throughout Europe and free shipping within Germany. To continue offering this, we need to pass on a portion of the return costs. You can find all further information about returns here .
How much does a return cost?
You can obtain a prepaid DHL label via our online returns process. We charge a flat fee of €4.80 for its use, which will be deducted from your refund amount. This ensures that the financial cost remains fair for both parties.

How long will it take to process my return and issue a refund?
Your return will typically take 4-5 business days to process after it arrives at our shipping partner. Once your return has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email. The refund will be issued via the same payment method you used for your order.

Once your return has been processed, you will receive a refund via the original payment method. Processing usually takes 4-5 business days.
Does Biowaves offer a warranty on its products?
Yes, we offer a 6-month warranty on all our products from the date of purchase.
It covers material and manufacturing defects.
Should your case be damaged by a fall within this period, while your smartphone remains undamaged, we will consider a replacement as a goodwill gesture.
Simply contact our support team at support@biowaves.de with photos and your order number.
How do I file a complaint?
Your satisfaction is our priority. Should anything on your ordered product indicate a manufacturing or material defect, please send us a message to support@biowaves.de or use the chat. Ideally, please attach 2-3 photos of the item as a whole and of the clearly visible defect or flaw in detail. We will get back to you within the next four business days.
Why do smartphone cases have to be disposed of in household waste when they are compostable?
The compostability of our casings was tested under anaerobic conditions, such as those found in biogas plants or landfills. However, most compostable waste is broken down in composting facilities under aerobic conditions. Under these conditions, the degradation process of our casings could take too long and disrupt the composting process.
The take-back systems in Europe are in almost all cases not yet set up for bioplastics and would sort our cases out as plastic waste.
As long as there are no take-back systems for bioplastics in Europe, the recommendation is to dispose of our mobile phone cases via household waste.
