How to Properly Install the Biowaves HangHub
Your guide to greater flexibility with the Fairphone 5
The Biowaves HangHub makes your Fairphone 5 even more convenient: you can easily wear it around your neck or wrist, safely, stylishly, and comfortably. In this article, we’ll explain how to properly install the HangHub and what your carrying options are.
🔧 What you'll need:
- Your Biowaves case for the Fairphone 5
- The HangHub adapter (consisting of two mounting plates)
- Your Fairphone 5
- A flat surface (such as a table)
🛠️ Step-by-step instructions
1) Prepare the file
Place the empty case on a stable surface.
Now insert the HangHub into the recess provided for this purpose on the back.
You have two options:
- Use both parts if you want to use a collar or a wide strap.
- Use only one piece if you want to use a wrist strap — left or right, depending on whether you prefer to wear the wrist strap on your right or left hand.
Important: Make sure the inserted part lies flat and is not pushed upward by the retaining straps.
2) Insert the Fairphone—top side first
Place the Fairphone in the case, top side down. Press the case firmly against the surface to stabilize the HangHub.
3) Tap at the bottom
Now press gently but firmly on the bottom of the smartphone inside the case.
Make sure the HangHub doesn't move or slip.
4) Control
Does the case fit snugly and evenly around the edge of the screen? Perfect. If not, start the process over.
