Kleine Wälder, große Wirkung: MIYA forest e.V. bringt Natur in die Stadt

Small forests, big impact: MIYA forest eV brings nature into the city

MIYA forest eV is a non-profit organization based in Eberswalde that advocates for more nature in our cities. Using the Miyawaki method, MIYA plants so-called Tiny Forests – small, species-rich forests in compact spaces that quickly grow into vibrant ecosystems.

But MIYA is about more than just trees: The association combines ecological restoration with education and community. Through workshops, school projects, and educational activities, people of all ages are invited to actively participate and rediscover nature.

Whether in Berlin, Schwäbisch Hall, or Morocco – MIYA shows how small areas can have a big impact. Learn more about their projects and how you can get involved at www.miya-forest.de .

We are excited by the idea of planting small forests and bringing people together – because initiatives like these show how much is possible when commitment, closeness to nature, and community come together.

We think MIYA's work is great and are supporting the project with a donation!
